More baby purchases

This weeks baby purchases

I have received a few packages this week that I wanted to share with the world. I got a Bonds package from ozsale.com.au which was full of lots of great bargains all brand new. Jax got another Nanny pickle outfit with matching hat. He also got another set of Peter Alexander Pjs. He's gonna be so cute!

My beautiful custom made Grey & Yellow mobile is ready and paid for! The seller is Sunshine & Vodka on etsy and I can't recommend her enough. Can't wait till it arrives. I am getting his name embroidered onto one of the clouds.

I found this little rope jar with a bird on top today at a Dollar store and thought it would be perfect for dummies. These are his 0-6 month dummies and I still have a few more packets in the draw to put in. This little robot is my husbands but I'm going to steal it for the nursery, it will look so cute on a little shelf somewhere.

Got this Mimco packable to throw in my baby bag. It folds out into a bigger shopping bag which I thought would be great for extra storage while I'm out.

Got baby boy a muslin wrap which will hopefully match the nursery decor, hoping to get an old timber ladder painted grey next week which will hold all his wraps etc.

Terrible photo but this is the mirror I got for the nursery, ignore the pug who is photo bombing! Not sure where it will go but will figure that out later.

My New Pram!!! I got the Mima Kobi with the second seat. I found it on gumtree from a guy who won it in a competition but doesn't have kids so he sold it to me brand new for $800, it retails with all the extras he gave me at $1799!!! BARGAIN

Well that's all I got this week... I think! Can't think of anything else I've bought but I'm sure there is more. I can't wait for this lil boy to arrive!

Nursery Wish List

Things I want for the nursery... so far

Curtains from Pottery Barn (I think I can make these myself for cheaper)
Rug from Pottery Barn
Air Balloon mobile from Etsy seller Sunshine & Vodka (I have ordered a custom made one to match the nursery)
Wall Decals from Etsy seller - they are only cheap so if I don't like the look I will get wallpaper or paint the wall
Glider (still haven't decided on which one, I just don't like any of them)
Door cushion
Diaper pail (deciding on which one)
Car Seat either the Peg Perego Viaggio or the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix
Mumaroo
Laundry Hamper
Formula Machine thing - this is freaking awesome but not sure if it will work in Australia
Teepee - love these for the corner of the nursery

Baby boy purchases so far

So as I write this my nerd of a husband (love him)is off playing 'Dungeons and Dragons' for the next 6 or so hours so I'm going to catch up on my blog.

Currently I am 17 weeks today and am feeling pretty good. The occasional heartburn but I've had that since I was about 12 so it's not really a big difference. I still fit into normal pants but have started wearing my maternity jeans in the last week cuz they're so comfy.

We found out that baby is a little boy at my 15 week gender scan (I had it done at Precious Previews for those of you in Brisbane) and they said it was a boy. I am getting one more scan next week just to be sure because I've spent so much money on little boy clothes, if it's a girl then my Sister in Law who is having a boy in a few months gets all my new stuff :(

I have bought way to much stuff but the list of things I still need seems to be endless. I only like to buy things on sale so I'm online all the time trying to find the best deals, I've done pretty well so far. I have opted for a pretty neutral nursery, I'm not into really bright themed nurserys. The nursery will be Grey and white with bits of baby blue and other soft colours.

Stokke Cot and Change Table

We found the Stokke cot and Stokke changetable on sale at David Jones for 30% off so bought the change table in the Whitewash and the cot in White. They were the only ones left but I think the colours go well together even though they don't match.

Mimco Baby bag

One of the only things I haven't got on sale is my Mimco baby bag. I ended up getting the Zetta baby bag in black with black hardware. I'm hoping it's going to a good size and I love the pockets on the outside for bottles and bits.

Connies

These little Converse are my favorite things we have for baby Jax. Mum bought them back from USA and holy moly they are so stinkin cute! Gotta get his daddy a matching pair.

Random baby items

This is just random things I have purchased or been gifted so far. I have tonnes and tonnes of other things, lots of clothes, dummies, shoes, etc.

The Silicone bottles I got for $3 so I bought 3 packets of them. Sophie the Giraffe was a gift from a beautiful friend. Mum got me the Motorola Video baby monitor. I'm loving the glass bottles and got a few of them at the baby bunting sale. Bought lots of dummies for less then half price on mumgo.com.au. Mum got me the grass drying rack in USA.

And then there were 4!

I am pleased to announce that we are expecting a little boy, in July 2014! We are so excited for our lil bundle of joy and want to keep a record of our journey till his arrival.

I have been terrible at blogging, it's been almost a year since my last post.

A few exciting things happened that I completely missed in 2013 which I will at some point need to catch up on... we went to Europe for my Besties beautiful Italian wedding which is where we may have fallen pregnant!

Can't wait to share all my baby purchases with you!

I Love Etsy

Today's post is showing you some of my favorite Etsy sellers/products. Etsy is a website that sells handmade items, you can find almost anything on Etsy. It's a great website for weddings and baby stuff.

iPad mini case

This is my absolute favorite iPad case I have ever owned and I've bought about 10 with this probably being the cheapest and best. It fits the iPad so well, it's super snug which is fantastic for your handbag because it takes up no extra room. The shop now has slightly different cases from when I bought mine, the picture now goes all the way to the edges and it fits a bit different but I hear it's even better now! I can't wait to get my hands on an iPhone case.

Dog ID Tag

This is Gastons ID tag, it is made so well and has our phone number on the back. I have never seen ID tags like this, much nicer then the usual ones and I think it's going to last a very long time.

So I have this in my car around the gear stick. It's a great idea and is also really cute, mine is a slightly different design but they don't stock it anymore. It's made really well and comes in super handy when you're a mess like me!

Wedding Lip Balm

I ordered 40 of these personalized lip balms for my Wedding Welcome bags. I sent the lady our wedding monogram and chose the flavors and these little beauties arrived. Once again the quality was fantastic and each flavor smelt delicious. I still see these are peoples houses and in peoples bags so I know they were a great little gift in the bags.

This is a picture of our fans that we had on each guests seat at the ceremony. I had them sent to Hawaii where my brother lived and picked them up when we went to Hawaii for Christmas a few months before the wedding to save on postage.
