My little workspace

My husband received a new desk for his birthday a few weeks ago so we had to move his previous white desk into the other spare room where I decided I would set the desk up for me to use.  I do a  lot of work at home so it has been great so far, just need a TV in there to accomodate my ridiculous addiction to having a TV on in every room.  I can't even brush my teeth without taking my iPad with a youtube video on it into the bathroom.  

Here are a couple of photos of how I set it up when I moved everything in, it's changed since I took these photos.  I still need to paint the room but it will also eventually be a nursery so I'm thinking about doing Gold dots on one wall.  I have a Cameo Silhouette so will just need to order the gold vinyl and cut out lots of circles.

This couch is right next to the desk, Gaston fell asleep on the pillows while I was arranging everything onto the desk.

 There's so much more to do but at least I have finally started organizing the room that kept bits and pieces of EVERYTHING.  Will keep you posted on any updates.

I'm Back, picture heavy post

I have not blogged for so long because I've bought lots of stuff and done lots of little things to my house that I got a bit overwhelmed with how many posts I was behind so now I"m going to try and catch up my life in one blog.  My sister & brother in law moved to USA for 6 months this week so thought that's a good reason I should restart my blog back up. 

Here's some snaps of things I've bought lately for the house...

 This black Ceramic drum stool I got for only $35! I'm thinking of going back to get a couple more and painting them for the guest room

Beautiful new throw to go on the couch, it was half price from Bed Bath N Table at $34.95 down from $69.95

 I got 2 of these black pendant lights with white inside for $4 on clearance, no that was not a typo, $4!

 

For my husbands office I found these 4 cork boards for $15 from Kmart.  They are so cute and love them so much

 We got this little outdoor setting on sale for $299 for when we finally get our courtyard tiled (my mum bought us the tiles for christmas/my bday).  Hopefully I will design what I want and rip up everything in the back and then get some people in to lay the tiles.

MIA - New stuff

I've been pretty busy with the end of year concert and the new puppy and my new niece was born a week ago but here are some of the pretty things I've bought lately...

GASTON

 Crystal Door Knobs

I grabbed a pack of 12 Crystal door knobs off eBay and they finally arrived.  They fit perfectly into the old holes so I put them on all of our bathroom cupboards all by myself with my pink toolkit.  Looks so much better, loving it!!!

Cleaning Supplies

I went to the grocery store to stock up on some Cleaning supplies and ended up spending $80!  I'm loving the fact that most of the cleaning stuff now is disposable, the toilet cleaning wipes can be flushed and I stocked up on the AJAX spray & wipe Wipes.  Don't mind the Malteasers, they were on sale for half price so had to grab them.

 I got some more laundry pods and decided to store them in a crystal vase to spruce up the laundry shelf.  The pink pods are Vanish Stain remover pods

 Witch Hazel

I bought this after reading many of reviews of it, I use it to take off my make up and then to tone.  I've been pretty lazy and haven't been cleansing but skin seems fine just making sure I use a good moisturizer.  I would totally recommend this stuff and I have super sensitive skin and it has not irritated me.
